New Crafting System
Collect DIY recipes and gather materials to craft tools and furniture. Build bridges, pathways, slopes, and rivers to decorate your island. It won’t happen overnight, but with a little effort, your Animal Crossing: New Horizons island can become a place you can call home.

Share your paradise
More residents will arrive as your island improves. Help them settle in, help them with tasks, and send them gifts. Up to 8 people registered on one Nintendo Switch can live on the same island, and up to 4 can enjoy island life at the same time. You can also play with up to 7 people locally or online by traveling to their islands or inviting them to yours.

Summer Update - Wave 2
Bring on the summer with weekly fireworks throughout August in Animal Crossing: New Horizons for Nintendo Switch. Connect to the internet and download the latest update data to access in-game events. For those with a Nintendo Switch Online subscription, the update adds the ability to sleep and dream in-game, as well as a new island backup service.
