The SpecialNeeds Feeder is designed for babies who are unable to create a vacuum due to certain neurological syndromes and disorders, or because they were born with a cleft lip or palate. The SpecialNeeds Feeder can be used with two different sized bottle nipples.

The SpecialNeeds Feeder is designed to allow baby to use compression when they cannot create a vacuum to extract liquid. The line marking on the bottle nipple helps the caregiver find the correct position (three different flows). The slit valve makes the bottle nipple sensitive to any feeding effort and closes completely when baby wants to take a break. The one-way valve prevents air from entering the bottle nipple.

The Special Needs Feeder comes in a standard size. If the size of your baby's oral cavity requires the smaller SpecialNeeds Mini nipple, the nipple can simply be replaced.

The SpecialNeeds Feeder can be reused after it has been cleaned according to the instructions for use.
