Paddington Bear with Scarf Plush Toy 28cm

A bear called Paddington was created by Michael Bond in 1958 and has become a British icon and ambassador for kindness, with continued popularity through his own TV series, blockbuster films and meeting the late Queen. Raise a toast – and a marmalade sandwich – to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Michael Bond’s first storybook starring everyone’s favourite bear.

This Large Fluffy Paddington with Scarf was inspired by the beautiful illustrations of Peggy Fortnum. These works of art are synonymous with the original Paddington books, which depict Paddington in his padded coat and battered old hat. This stunning, premium quality, nostalgic Paddington bear has been created especially to commemorate the momentous occasion of 60 years and features the distinctive anniversary artwork along with a beautiful suedette checkered scarf and 'Please look after this bear. Thank you' tag around the neck.

This plush gift is cuddly enough to appeal to younger Paddington Bear fans and stylish enough to stand out on any collector's shelf. The gift tag features Peggy Fortnum's unmistakable illustrations.
